Please Help Raise Money For The Brian & Shimeaka Hodges Fund.. After Brian Was Injured In Zipline Accident In Mexico posted by on July 28, 2014

Prayers out to Brian & Shimeaka Hodges, who are now embroiled in a Health & Insurance Nightmare after Brian was Terribly Injured in a Zipline Accident in Mexico, causing his body to collide with a Mountain at over 40 mph, suffering Severe Head Trauma that left him in a Coma, in addition to a broken back, neck and ribs

The Hodges traveled to Mexico to celebrate an anniversary and celebrate Shimeaka’s birthday when they decided to go ziplining at “Wild Canyon,” which is billed as the safest zipline around. Sadly, a gust of wind slammed Brian’s body into the Mountain.

After friends tried to help him regain Consciousness, Medical teams in Mexico refused to perform emergency surgery on Brian until Shameaka paid $50,000 up front, which she had to put on her Credit Cards. To make matters worse, The International Plan on their Medical Insurance only covered 50% of the total medical costs.

The severity of Brian’s injuries will incur far more expenses, and his family is trying to see him safely home.

Please visit Brian & Shameaka’s  Go Fund Me page which has been set up to help cover the couple’s medical costs, and had raised nearly $60,000 as of Monday Afternoon.
