"The Life And Times Of Prophecy"
It’s the final chapter for the greatest boy wizard who ever lived.
The official trailer for the eighth and final “Harry Potter” film, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part Two” has been released, and like the book, it’s jam-packed with epic action and drama. Good wizards take on the practitioners of the Dark Arts as Harry fulfills his destiny and takes on his nemesis Voldemort.
Breathtaking CGI, deep and rich colors and a feeling of something larger than life pervade the trailer; the entire film hits theaters July 15th.
In what will be his first return to the film world after his stint as Governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger will return to the big screen in the role that made him a household name, as the Terminator. The film is currently being pitched to film companies by CAA (Commercial Artists Agency) on behalf of a hedge fund based in San Diego, that bought the rights to the Terminator franchise in a bankruptcy auction.
The latest installment of the franchise will be directed by “Fast Five” Director Justin Lin. It looks like Justin will be going from Fast Five to “T5” as this will also be the fifth film in the franchise. The first 2 films were directed by James Cameron and “T2″ was hugely successful and brought in over $500 Million worldwide.
Arnold also starred in Terminator 3, “Rise of The Machines” but was physically absent from “Terminator: Salvation” starring Christian Bale and Sam Worthington, aside from a brief cameo of a superimposed Arnold face.
We just better hope Arnold hits the gym soon, cause if you haven’t seen recent photos of dude on the beach, his 62 year old frame is definitely not holding up as well as you would have thought it would.
The White iPhone 4 will be available tomorrow, April 28th, at all Apple retailers and AT&T and Verizon stores. After months of anticipation, Apple decided to announce the release of the phone just a day before it is made available.
Suggested retail price will be $199 for a 16gb version and $299 for a 32gb version.
Get ready for even more long lines.
That’s if our world even survives that long.
Nokia announced that it will be letting go of 7,000 jobs, 4,000 direct jobs from their company worldwide, and 3,000 jobs will be transferred to outsourcing and consulting firm, Accenture.
While Nokia was at one era a favorite amongst standard handheld cell phones, they have seen a dramatic drop in their market share, as it has lagged behind in the Smartphone industry as dominated by Apple’s iPhone and Blackberry.
Nokia has also seen their Symbian system as far less popular than the Android operating system by Google, but has recently signed a deal with Microsoft and will start producing Smartphones with their Operating System.
This decision to cut 7,000 jobs was deemed as necessary by the company in order to make the head way it needed into the Smartphone market. Considering that Smartphones are the standard in cell phones these days, I’m pretty sure Nokia’s decision to do this was do or die.
In the worst outage suffered by the Sony Playstation 3 Network since 2006, Sony has had to shut down its Playstation Network and Qriocity music service since the evening of April 20th, after revealing an “external intrusion” that was malicious.
The shutdown affects some 77 Million gamers who have way too much time on their hands and play war and fantasy role playing games with other players from all over the world. The United States has some 36 Million PS3 gamers online, with Europe in at 32 Million and Asia comprising 9 Million of the total, mainly in earthquake stricken Japan where Sony is Headquartered.
At first it seemed a security breach that just caused the network to shut down. But now the heads of Sony fear the possibility that credit card information belonging to its 77 Million users may in fact be stolen. From what is reported, it is still too early to tell, but it is definitely something the company has not ruled out.
The organization known as “Anonymous” which has targeted Hustler Magazine, Gene Simmons and of course the Church of Scientology, was originally thought to be the culprit behind the attack, but has denied any involvement in the incident.
The breach could possibly cost the company Billions of dollars. The attack also comes at a bad time for Sony as it just released “SOCOM 4” which is one of Sony’s biggest online game franchises. The outage is also giving an edge to Microsoft’s XBox gaming platform. Microsoft requires a $60 a year membership for their network, but Sony’s is free of charge. While that may help Sony with having problems of refunding membership costs, it will have little consolation to those who use their PS3′s to access services such as Netflix, Vudu or Blockbuster Online.
Sony said the 3-digit security code information located on the back of customer credit cards has not been stolen, hopefully making it difficult for fraud criminals to use customer credit lines.

This image shows where the 17-mile long Large Hadron Collider sits underground in Geneva, Switzerland
A note leaked onto thee internet this week, alleged to have been sourced from the scientists working at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) in Geneva, Switzerland claiming that they have found the elusive Higgs Boson Particle, the elementary particle that is theorized to lend mass to all matter, giving it the nickname, “The God Particle“. The existence of the God particle has, at least possibly up until now, exists only in theory, postulated to solve the inconsistencies in theoretical physics.
The search for this particle is the main reason behind the conception and creation of the LHC, which is the world’s largest particle collider, primarily built and funded by European countries. It is an underground circular tunnel, 17 miles in circumference, and approximately 600 feet below the Franco-Swiss border in Geneva, Switzerland. It’s beginnings received much controversy and opposition from critics that believed that smashing protons into each other at nearly 100% the Speed of Light could create small Black Holes that would eventually lead to the destruction of our world. Regardless of this contention, those that supported the project believed it could lead scientists to understanding the fundamental roots of the existence of our universe and how all was formed and created.
While nothing is yet confirmed, the success of discovering the God Particle still remains uncertain. I also wouldn’t doubt that perhaps the buzz of a rumor could be used deceptively, to deceive the public into believing in the success of the LHC, or perhaps as pursuit of further funding.
What I do know is this. We are way too ahead of ourselves. Particle Accelerators, in my opinion are crossing over into dangerous territory, much like the Nuclear Reactors that are housed all over the world, and also responsible from the current soon to be global crisis from the Fukushima Daiichi plant in Japan. If we had to build a $10 Billion Dollar underground tunnel, causing particles to act in a way they are not meant, then we definitely weren’t meant to find the God particle in the first place. When it comes to all reactions of this nature, at the subatomic level, you are starting a process that may not end. These are the same reasons why even spent fuel rods are a huge radiation risk for months, even years, requiring the supervision and care that easily failed in a time of disaster such as the March 11th Earthquake and Tsunami.
One day, the energy created in one of their tests will result in a failure, of which the consequences may be catastrophic.
Keenan Cahill is a young modern day hero. If you don’t know him by now you’re obviously not on the internet and need to crawl out from under your rock. He lip syncs to some of all the greatest pop hits and is so well choreographed, hilarious and animated with what he does, he never gets less than a Million hits per video.
So it’s no wonder why he even caught the attention of 50 Cent, and the two decided to make their own video for Jeremih‘s song “Down On Me” which features the rapper who has the 9 lives of a cat, one for each bullet he’s taken. But what they didn’t know was that 50′s version with Keenan was the video that actually made “Down On Me” a true bona fide hit. Keenan and 50′s video was posted 5 months ago and now has 30 Million views. The official video with Jeremih and 50 was posted to YouTube about a month later, and is now sitting at 25 million views… still quite impressive, but nowhere near Keenan’s version in his bedroom, and that’s not even counting the copycat video posts that also have views in the millions.
Let’s do the math… out of their collective total, Keenan MORE THAN DOUBLES what would have been the 25 Million plays alone, bringing the grand total to 55. And let’s not mention the fact that Keenan’s video already made the song a more well known hit than radio had at the time. He probably boosted 10 of the 25 Million plays they got.
When you consider Keenan and 50′s version cost $0 and some time, versus Jeremih and 50′s version which probably cost upwards of $500,000… Keenan and 50′s version is one of the best video / music single marketing tools of all time.
What makes it even more gangster, is Keenan didn’t even clean up his room… NOT EVEN FOR 50 CENT !!
Check out the two videos below, and you tell me which one is more entertaining.
It was recently discovered by researchers Alasdair Allan and Pete Warden that all 3G iPhones and iPads manufactured by Apple have been seriously invading the privacy of its owners, by giving a detailed map of its every location. It was found that it doesn’t track your whereabouts like GPS, but actually triangulates your latitude and longitudinal coordinates from cell towers.
What makes this worse, is that it will not only keep a detailed map of everywhere you have been, but also your computer if it interfaces your iPhone or iPad via iTunes. In fact, anybody can access the file it’s saved to, and check your whole mobile history. Again, this is not like GPS, so there is no way to turn this feature off. It is an automatic feature that has been kept a hidden secret from the public the entire time the world’s most popular cell phone has been on the free market.
To me, this is no surprise. For those of you that are unfamiliar, the very logo behind Apple Computers is an apple with a bite taken out of it, as it is to represent the fruit that was taken from the Garden of Eden, in which Adam and Eve took a bite to let sin enter into the world.
What’s even more effed up, is that the first Apple computer, the Apple I, sold for $666.
Coincidence? Yes or No?
Rob Pattinson had his own wax sculpture revealed at Madame Tussaud’s Washington D.C. location on Earth Day, April 22nd. I don’t know about you, but that wax figure’s lookin a little greasy. Interesting part is, there are always rumors that the “Twilight” star despises showering and washing her hair.
I guess a wax figure is just a little bit ironic… dontchyha think?
With all that’s been going on in our world lately, there’s no doubt that non-believers of anything these days are suddenly becoming believers. And one of the main subject matters circulating around our world these days are in regards to UFO’s and Extra Terrestrial life.
This video is quickly becoming viral, in which there’s a claim that Russians found a dead Alien Body in the snow. If you ask me, it looks like a fake body. But what do you think of the video?
Apple filed a lawsuit against Samsung claiming copyright, trademark and patent infringement from its Galaxy line of phones and tablets, claiming they are too similar to the design and operating system phone in Apple’s revolutionary iPhones and iPads.
Truth be told, there are definite similarities between the two phones. I myself own a Samsung Galaxy S 4G which I indeed love, but without a doubt, everytime I pull the phone out, everyone asks, “Is that an iPhone?” noting the similarities, yet apparent differences.
There are loads of developments coming out right now between the two companies, as to who came out with the phone design first, and who came out with the chip designs first. For sure this will be a fight to the finish.
But I also wonder what that will do with the impending merger between AT&T and T-Mobile, as AT&T is the first and main carrier for the iPhone before Verizon started carrying it earlier this year, and T-Mobile being the main carrier for the Samsung Galaxy phones and tablets. That’s like two moms that are best friends fighting over their kids.
The iPhone and Galaxy problems reminds me much of Apple and Windows, as Windows was made to emulate Apple’s user friendly operating system. We never saw Apple try to sue Windows, although that’s a history that requires several posts on its own.
Let’s see which 12 figure company wins
