I guess we had to cover some ground with this one.
We spotted Arsenio Hall outside of STK last night, and we got down to the nitty gritty about quite a few things. Of course we had to ask about his controversy on Donald Trump’s NBC Show, “Celebrity Apprentice”, where he called Aubrey O’Day a few choice words. He said “I Love Aubrey O’Day“.
We also discussed who his favorite guests on his show, “The Arsenio Hall Show” was… and no, it wasn’t Tupac. It was in fact when he had Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard and Mike Tyson All on Stage with him.
We also spoke about the importance The Arsenio Hall Show had on Hip-Hop in the Early 90′s, and how much he had an impact on bringing the burgeoning art form to the Main Stream.
And of course, we had no choice but discuss Trayvon Martin, and the fact that George Zimmerman had been formally charged with 2nd Degree Murder.
Anybody else have any other questions?

Today Marks the 15 Year Anniversary of when Christopher Wallace, A.K.A. The Notorious B.I.G. A.K.A. Biggie Smalls was gunned down in front of the Petersen Automotive Museum off Fairfax and Wilshire in Los Angeles.
Wallace was attending the Vibe Magazine Soul Train Music Awards After-Party on Saturday Night, March 9th, 1997 when he was gunned down by an unknown assailant, who drove off into the night…. putting an end to the East Coast / West Coast Beef that culminated in the most tragic losses in Hip-Hop History… including Tupac’s Murder in Las Vegas after a Mike Tyson fight at the MGM Grand on September 7th, 1996.
And just as Dexter Isaac wrote a letter from jail admitting his responsibility for shooting Tupac at the Times Square Studios in 1994 on the 15 year anniversary of his death… Today, Retired Los Angeles Police Detective, Greg Kading announced that he knows who pulled the trigger in Biggie’s murder… The man in question is also deceased, dying from gunshot wounds.
For the sake of my safety, considering everybody knows my whereabouts at all times… I will not go any further into these claims and allegations.. you can search them all out yourself as many other sites have posted this information.
In the end, no amount of murder or case solving, or evidence or finger pointing will ever bring back our 2 Greatest Hip-Hop Artists of All Time, Tupac Shakur and Christopher Wallace.
In the end, our lesson to take from this is the fact that life is precious… and each individual and unique life happens only once, and once it is gone, it is gone for good.

50 Cent... Street King To Save The Developing World And Its Children
50 Cent is trying to be America’s Greatest Hero. And you know what, He just may become that.
Aside from surviving 9 shots… aside from making damn near half billy off of Glaceau’s Vitamin Water and Formula 50…
Aside from selling 10′s of millions of albums in his career… He has decided to see what’s most important in life and with the blessings he’s been given.

He Went From Runnin New York To Saving Somalia
So he has begun his highly honorable “Street King” Campaign, where he plans to help feed A Billion Children over the course of the next 10 years. And dude isn’t playin. He spent all last week out in Somalia, to try and figure out ways to benefit the society and the children growing up there.
Anybody who is a true Hip-Hop connoisseur, knows that 50 is incredibly intelligent and creative, and his skills and abilities have already taken him this far.

A Billion Of These Crying Kids Will Be Thanking 50 When They're Grown
But what he is doing now is far beyond what most Hip-Hop Artists, and Entertainers for that matter even dare to achieve. He is truly attempting to use his fame, his abilities and his resources to change our world for the better.
Props 50, feed those children, save those lives… and change this world. When he first came out, he told people 50 cent is a metaphor for change. And now he is becoming that change.

Hip-Hop wasn’t the only Genre of music wanting some Post-Grammy Beef…
Adam Levine was apparently craving steak like he also drops 16 Bars… Cause he showed up to Mastro’s Steakhouse in Beverly Hills at the same time as Flo Rida, Drake and T.I.
Adam brought his girlfriend, Model Anne V, who’s wearing practically next to nothing (underneath that jacket of course).
The happy couple was a big hit on the Red Carpet… and while Adam may be popular for Maroon 5 and being on The Voice and all with Christina Aguilera and Cee-Lo Green…
I’m pretty sure it was Anne V’s outfit, or lack thereof, that made the biggest… or skimpiest… impression on the Carpet

Damion “Damizza” Young is a rare gift to this world… Especially when you consider the fact that he’s prepared to graciously gift this world… Especially if you’re a fan of Hip-Hop and R&B.
In an Exclusive Interview with SunOfHollywood.com, we chatted with Damion Young and got his take on why he’s “Guilty By Association“
Damion “Damizza” Young is a producer and has been involved in various aspects of the Hip-Hop world, as well as the Careers of some of our greatest and most memorable artists of all-time, such as Eminem, Snoop Dogg, P. Diddy, Jay-Z, Mariah Carey and even the Late, Great Michael Jackson Himself.
Damion’s deep involvements with such monumental artists has taken his life on a crash course of the Entertainment World, garnering himself memories that most people couldn’t even dream of, like the time he spent with Mariah Carey, Michael Jackson and Luis Miguel… Three of the world’s most beloved musical artists of all time.
In his new book, “Guilty By Association” which you can order FOR FREE from his website, www.DamizzaBook.com, he illustrates how a small town kid rose up amongst some of Music’s most influential, to even becoming a romantic involvement of Mariah Carey’s. After news that his book was going to touch on some of his time with Mariah, the uproar of naysayers and haters who claimed Damion was doing it all for sales, caused Damion to prove himself to be nothing more than an unlikely historian and story teller, willing to share with the world a message that nobody would ever dare share for free. Damion is offering his book “Guilty By Association” for free starting December 14th for one reason, and one reason only… He realizes he has a message and memories to share that are too important for a few measley dollars that he isn’t worried about, especially since his involvements have already sold over 40 Million Records.
What makes this book even greater, is that Damizza is not just sharing fond memories like when Dr. Dre brought him to his home while an unknown Eminem was recording the original version of “Hi My Name Is“. No. Damizza is even willing to open up about his own perils and pitfalls that came with the successes and the “associations” he had within the industry. Seeing his own life falling victim to the same troubles that he’s seen many celebrities and superstars before him, he realized that he needed to grab a hold of his soul, or suffer fatal consequences.
Being that it’s the Holiday Season, the Spirit of the Season is to be about Giving. In his book, “Guilty By Association“, Damion is not only giving the gift of an insight to a fascinating world that Millions wished they could embark upon, but he’s also giving The Gift of Life, through lessons he has learned from this School of Hard Knox, and the Grad School of Hip-Hop.
In a world where Profit and Capitalism is our main focus, it is truly refreshing and truly a blessing to find a man like “Damizza” who realizes that the true gift, is to give without a thing in return. And it is an even greater gift, when that knowledge and insight that is given can even save a life.
God bless you Damizza

Kannon "Cavie" Cross... The Spirit Of Hip-Hop Past, Present, AND Future
The Life story of Music Producer Kannon Cross, a.k.a. “Caviar” a.k.a. “Cavie“, plays out like a Who’s Who of Hip-Hop’s Most Influential and Historic Figures.
Take for example the fact that Cavie was plucked out of the streets of Compton as an adolescent at the ripe old age of 12 by none other than N.W.A. Co-Founder and Ruthless Records CEO Eazy-E, along with DJ Train after showing young Cavie the difference in lives he could experience if he went from the Streets to the Hip-Hop Scene. And so he did. A teenage Cavie was blessed enough to live out his teenage years under the wings of N.W.A. Members, Eazy, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, DJ Yella, MC Ren and the D.O.C., watching them put together what would now be considered legendary works in the Hip-Hop realm and its West Coast Gangsta Rap movement.

Cavie And DMX... In The Studio Doing What They Do Best
From there, Cavie moved to Blackground Entertainment, run by Barry Hankerson, uncle to the also legendary Aaliyah. At Blackground, Cavie worked with Hip-Hop’s greatest collaborative and creative minds, which not only included Aaliyah, but also Missy “Misdemeanor” Elliott and Timbaland. Cavie’s relationship with Timbaland continues to this day, as the two are set to work on a few upcoming tracks. Cavie began working on several projects with Aaliyah, including songs such as “Back in One Piece,” featuring DMX. The song was a big hit on the “Romeo Must Die” soundtrack. Blackground also hired Cavie to work with R&B artist, Tank, producing songs such as “Street Life” and “My Freak.” Cavie even mentions how Aaliyah’s final album was set to be a double album, which was to feature various tracks from Cavie, but as we know, that double album would never come to be.

Cavie And Dr. Drew Pinsky's at DMX's taping for Lifechangers
Cavie has lent his musical fingerprints to artists that we all know and love, like Mack 10, Ice Cube, Xzibit, T.I. and DMX… but was recently called by none other than Cee-Lo Green himself to not only work on Cee-Lo’s upcoming solo effort, but to also add his musical talents to the upcoming and highly anticipated and long overdue Goodie Mob album, which brings Cee-Lo back to the Dungeon Family based crew, which includes T-Mo, Big Gipp and Khujo, that made them all famous along with Outkast. These projects are not the only albums on Cavie’s plate. He recently agreed to work with Teddy Riley and another album for Macy Gray, and he’s also crafting hits for the comeback albums for T.I. and DMX.
The Hip-Hop scene of the South is definitely familiar with Cavie’s work, after moving to Atlanta in 2001 and producing tracks for T.I., beginning with work on “Urban Legend” and continuing to “King”, where he produced the menacing track, “Undertaker”. In the South, Cavie played his beats to Crime Mob, Young Dro and Ciara. Cavie also had the privilege of producing some of the late Pimp C’s last recorded songs.

Cavie, DMX And Yung Dre
And if that wasn’t enough… can you believe Cavie’s about to drop a track with Joe Jonas ??? Damn homey, talk about versatility. Versatility is definitely something that Cavie is all too familiar with, after his 2010 hit record with Macy Gray, “Beauty in the World”, generated several television placements including; “Ugly Betty”, “Law and Order LA”, “What Chilli Wants”, and the Ashton Kutcher film “Killers”. Other Macy Gray collabs also made it on the screens like “Kissed It” which became the Summertime theme the Bravo network and “Stand Up” which was in the movie “For Colored Girls”.

So when it comes to the real History of Hip-Hop, it’s time to scratch what you “think” you know… and it’s time you know what’s been really goin on. The man with the Rock Hard “Cavie” has been filling your ears and souls with that funk that your favorite artists have lent their voices and minds to, all to be the influential move makers that Hip-Hop is known for. And as Cavie prepares to set his eyes on his past dues of Superstardom, we can’t wait to see what Cavie will be releasing, both for others, as well as himself.

Cavie IS Hip-Hop
And if you’re not convinced yet, just check out the Exclusive Interview Cavie gave to SunOfHollywood.com, and prepare to relive the Ghost of Hip-Hop Past… only to see Cavie’s got the keys to the Spirit of Hip-Hop’s Future.

One Of The Best Heavyweight Champs That Ever Lived
Rap and Hip-Hop Pioneer and Legend Heavy D, born Dwight Arrington Myers, died today at just 44 years old. Sources close to the Hip-Hop Legend say that he had just come home from shopping when he began to have difficulty breathing after heading up a flight of stairs. He was found by Adam Mills, a Designer who was in the building, when Heavy told him “I can’t breathe“.
a 911 call was placed from his building this morning, and died shortly after being transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Some medical personnel at Cedars have been overheard saying that Heavy died of an apparent Heart Attack.
And with a Legend like Heavy, it’s only fitting that he leaves with a Legendary outro. Heavy D took to his twitter yesterday, to pay his last respect to Smokin Joe Frazier, calling him “one of the best heavyweight champs that ever lived” just after retweeting Shaquille O’Neal who was doing the same.
And his final words to the world…
“Be Inspired”

Thank you Heav for all the years you blessed Hip-Hop and our World with Your Larger Than Life Presence
And May The Soul Of Heavy D Be Blessed Eternally As He Ascends Into The Heavens

A Rose By Any Other Name Just Wouldn't Be The 'X'
DMX was spotted leaving the Maxim Magazine Party at Colony in Hollywood, hosted by Suelyn Medeiros, and was hit up by the rose ladies.
DMX always the gentlemen did in fact not only entertain this woman, but in fact gave her quite a sum of money to pay for the roses. Later DMX flashed the bouquet like his latest weapon of warfare against the media and the World. The funny thing is, not only does this woman hit up DMX on the regular whenever he’s out for some roses, but she wouldn’t leave the dude alone when he already bought some and shelled out his loot. What these b!tc#es want from a …

Speaking of which… While X managed to organize a departure of quite a few friends and some fly females, he practically waved a not so “white” flag, pleading with those individuals involved behind the scenes in the Media World, to be fair and report “The Truth“.
DMX himself, being one of the most powerful lyricists and poets of our time, is a man who probably understands the Truth more than most participants in other crafts of the Entertainment Industry. In fact, lyrics embedded within DMX’s songs unravel the true nature behind the Entertainment Industry quite well.
And that’s where his troubles began…

DMX Rose Above His Trials... And Will Reign In Triumph
So now, we’re hoping and wishing for X to finally be able to move away from this drama that is clearly trying to follow him, as well as the unfairness he has had to experience and endure through these times.
And as for that “White” flag… it was more like the Industry was throwing that up. Because I think it’s time the Industry finally learns to surrender their usual tactics of destroying those who have made it their life’s energy and work, to speak Truth into our lives.
