Kate Hudson and Matthew Bellamy livin the good life in Punta Mita, Mexico
Kate Hudson made an appearance on Wednesday’s “The Today Show” when Matt Lauer noticed a square cut diamond ring on her finger. Matt then asked if that was an engagement ring, and Kate said “I haven’t really announced it, I was waiting for someone to notice”. Guess that time is now.
Kate Hudson, 32, has now promised herself to Matthew Bellamy, also 32, who has been her boyfriend of nearly a year, and is the father of her unborn child. The announcement comes as a surprise since Kate recently said she felt no need to rush into marriage, considering she already has one child and one divorce. Kate also comes from a household of a historically unmarried Hollywood couple, Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell (who is her stepfather). Kate is divorced former husband Chris Robinson, singer of the Black Crowes, in 2006 after nearly six years of marriage. Chris is the father of her son Ryder, 7.
This will be the 2nd child and 2nd marriage for Hudson.
Smart move Kristin.. This won't take a whole lot of getting used to
27 year old Jay Cutler has asked 24 year old Kristin Cavallari, star of “Laguna Beach” and “The Hills” to marry him, and she said yes. Jay surprised Kristin with a trip to Cabo San Lucas with the specific intent of asking Kristin’s hand in marriage. Jay reportedly got down on one knee overlooking the ocean while presenting Kristin with a 5 carat diamond ring. Kristin has stated that she is madly in love and couldn’t be happier. Jay came into the NFL out of Vanderbilt University playing for the Denver Broncos in 2006 and has been with the Chicago Bears since 2009.
Congratulations to the couple. And for convenience sake, glad to see that K.C. is still going to be K.C., unless she decides to make her name Kristin Cavallari-Cutler, then she’ll be K.C.C., which would probably get confusing in an email situation when she says “CC me?”, and her friends will say, “CC what? Which CC are you talking about?”
Yes... They WILL divorce you for someone in the industry
This week we saw two major events amongst celebrity couples. 1) Eddie Cibrian and LeAnn Rimes got married in Malibu, California. 2) Amy Smart announced her engagement to Carter Oosterhouse from HGTV’s “Carter Can”
What makes these two couples worth talking about in this post? Eddie, LeAnn and Amy all dumped their longtime former companions for someone more prominent in the industry.
Eddie was married to Brandi Glanville, a make-up artist who is also the mother of his two children. The two were married for 8 years before Eddie began his alleged affair with LeAnn, also married at the time to Dean Sheremet, also for 8 years !!
So they both dumped their spouses of 8 years, to get with the more prominent, more famous and wealthier person.
I guess Amy made the Smart move.. A guy who's good with his hands 
Now, on to Amy Smart. Amy was dating actor Brandon Williams, and the two had been together more than half their lives, since they were teenagers in junior high. They were at once engaged, but ended their relationship. Then Amy meets Carter in November, and the two are already on the path to tying the knot. Sucks for Brandon who’s been puttin in work over half his life.
All that’s to say is, most celebrities in the industry will do you like Jennifer Lopez. They’ll ditch out on the Ojani Noas and Chris Judds of their lives, to get with the Puffys, Diddys and Marc Anthonys.
If you’re dating a celebrity, and you’re a non-celebrity… beware your 8th year.

After all... "Scream" is the movie that started it all
Courtney Cox and David Arquette are together again… To promote the latest installment of the film that started it all for this A-list… whatever you want to call them right now.
Courtney and David first met on the set of the original “Scream” 15 years ago, before it became such a huge franchise. This film is what started this couple off to become one of Hollywood’s A-List power couples, where even the sale of their Malibu home for $33 Million to Dodgers Owner Frank McCourt, who was still married to Jamie McCourt at the time. Strangely, they also would see the downfall of their own marriage. Maybe that Malibu house is cursed !!! Maybe if you have the word “court” in your name, and you live in that house, you’re destined for divorce “court”.
So Dave and Courtney split last year, or at least gave themselves a trial separation. Dave obviously became a mess after that, with news of an alleged affair with Jasmine Waltz (who def gets around the Hollywood In-Crowd) and Dave subsequently landing himself in rehab. I’m sure his drunken stupors were from his lack of Court. And in recent weeks Courtney’s been seen frolicking on beaches of St. Bart’s with “Cougars” co-star Josh Hopkins.

Now this is what I call extreme marketing. Spare no expense and get maximum value. These fools straight chilled with a live full size elephant at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel in Santa Monica, California. Can you believe that?
Now, I really would’ve liked it if they actually rode with the elephant on the Ferris Wheel. Now that would’ve been way more impressive. I might’ve even guaranteed I would’ve bought a movie ticket just on the strength of that sight alone. But just an elephant in a hotel parking lot in Santa Monica… Not fully impressed yet.

Anyhow, this film is finally coming out on April 22nd, Earth Day, and it’s about frickin time. There was much speculation last year about Rob and Reese being an item on set for this film, and Rob forgetting about what’s her name, Kristin Stewart. Well, those rumors def hold no merit now that Reese got married last week.
