Why do I get the feeling Lance Armstrong Is Somehow Responsible For All Of This ???

The U.S. Postal Service has just announced that it has finally decided to pull the plug on Saturday Deliveries of Letters, after years of deliberation.

As it currently stands, the USPS is now Losing $16 Billion Dollars a year as a result of the Technological Age and our society’s complete transition into the realm of Internet Based E-mail.  The move is reported to save the ailing system $2 Billion Dollars a year, or about 12.5%.

However, the Postal Service WILL CONTINUE to deliver Packages on Saturdays, as Deliveries have grown in sales.. further proof of our Society’s complete Transition to a Technological / Digital Age, showing there are more Online Shopping Purchase, in addition to the possibly more time sensitive nature of packages over most letters.

Since e-mails are usually Letter-Like in Nature, it’s only natural that this aspect of their operations would suffer.  The USPS WILL ALSO CONTINUE DELIVERY of letters to P.O. Boxes, limiting costs of having Workers actually leave the Post Offices on Saturday, as well as serving local office’s paying P.O. Box customers.

Don’t be surprised if you see even more streamlining of future delivery days.

Atlanta Mall Cop Darien Long must know what it is he has to deal with on a daily basis at his job and was smart enough to invest in a camera stationed to his vest in order to catch some of the unruly patrons he probably has to deal with.

But in this NSFW video filmed last May that’s just gone Viral in the last 3 days, we see exactly what situations Darien purchased this camera for.  He is seen being viciously verbally attacked by 2 mothers, who didn’t take kindly to Darien asking their kids to pipe down… prompting the 2 Mama Bears to kick in their Mama Bear instincts.  However, these women seemed to be looking to pick a fight, because they never let up on poor Mr. Long for a Long Time, getting in his face, cussing him out while he continuously requested they “Back Up”, even retreating back into the Atlanta Mall on Several occasions, and warning the moms and their kids to stay off the Private Property which they were no longer welcome.

Well of course that didn’t work… leaving Darien no choice but to give one of the crazy baby mama’s the Mama Bear Taser treatment after she repeatedly attacked and assaulted the Security Guard… Leading to even more threats by the Dad of one or some of the kids.

In a world where a lot of use of tasers becomes online controversy, it seems the public has no doubts about who was at fault here… leading to an online fundraising campaign that has now totalled well over $25,000 to assist Darien in purchasing “better or more” gear… a good call considering the wild families are looking for revenge.  Maybe Darien should just take the money and quit his job instead… Your Life and your Safety are more important.

Aaahhh… Moments like these almost restore your lost faith in humanity when you actually see the general public making the right decision, reminiscent of Karen Klein, the Bus Monitor Grandma who was bullied by kids.. only to receive over Half a Million Dollars last year in publicly gifted contributions after that video went viral.

I guess these days.. Revenge is a Dish best served on YouTube Uploads.

In the worst  outage suffered by the Sony Playstation 3 Network since 2006, Sony has had to shut down its Playstation Network and Qriocity music service since the evening of April 20th, after revealing an “external intrusion” that was malicious.

The shutdown affects some 77 Million gamers who have way too much time on  their hands and play war and fantasy role playing games with other players from all over the world.  The United States has some 36 Million PS3 gamers online, with Europe in at 32 Million and Asia comprising 9 Million of the total, mainly in earthquake stricken Japan where Sony is Headquartered.

At first it seemed a security breach that just caused the network to shut down.  But now the heads of Sony fear the possibility that credit card information belonging to its 77 Million users may in fact be stolen.  From what is reported, it is still too early to tell, but it is definitely something the company has not ruled out.

The organization known as “Anonymous” which has targeted Hustler Magazine, Gene Simmons and of course the Church of Scientology, was originally thought to be the culprit behind the attack, but has denied any involvement in the incident.

The breach could possibly cost the company Billions of dollars.  The attack also comes at a bad time for Sony as it just released “SOCOM 4” which is one of Sony’s biggest online game franchises.  The outage is also giving an edge to Microsoft’s XBox gaming platform.  Microsoft requires a $60 a year membership for their network, but Sony’s is free of charge.  While that may help Sony with having problems of refunding membership costs, it will have little consolation to those who use their PS3′s to access services such as Netflix, Vudu or Blockbuster Online.

Sony said the 3-digit security code information located on the back of customer credit cards has not been stolen, hopefully making it difficult for fraud criminals to use customer credit lines.

So Star Magazine tried to have an “All Hollywood” party this Sunday night at Trousdale, and it seems like All Hollywood decided to go elsewhere.  Not forrealz, it wasn’t that bad, but it did seem a little lackluster.  There was very little A-list power to support this party, but it definitely had some up and coming movers and shakers on the scene, as well as some old favorites that have stayed pretty steady in our focus.

 

Now the thing is, Star Magazine, as a publication, has created quite a few enemies over the decades.  They’re notorious for making up stories and causing loads of problems, not to mention the fact that they’re a subsidiary of National Enquirer.

I was told that celebrities in attendance would be receiving a free Ipad 2, and if that’s the case… EVEN A FREE IPAD 2 COULDN’T PICK UP THE DRAW !!!  Now that’s saying a lot.

 

But hey, it was a nice attempt Star.  I did see some folks that were cool, such as 2/3 of one of the OG boy groups, “Hanson“.  We also got a look at the ever so fine Krupa sisters, Joanna and Marta.  “The Hills” repped hard, with Stephanie Pratt, Jayde Nicole and Jason Wahler in attendance.  And let’s not forget to mention how much Stephanie Pratt wanted to be the life of the party, even tweeting a pic of herself from the inside on a skateboard in her heels.  If she fell flat on her ass, now that would’ve been a shot!!!

 

We got to see Dane Cook and his non-Jessica Simpson looking date.  Tatiana Ali showed up still the princess of Bel-Air.

 

Taryn Manning was DJ for the event, and has been spinning on the 1′s and 2′s a lot around Hollywood lately, so if you’re ever out, keep a look out for her.  That should always make for a great time.

 

The Gastineau Girls were out, and Lisa was trying to hook her daughter Brittny up with Gavin DeGraw. She needs to find a steady man soon, and let’s hope she does.

Bai-Ling showed up for all our international audiences.

Two hotties forrealz were Lacey Schwimmer and Hope Dworaczyk whose looks are directly correlated with how little clothing they have on, since they both have some of the hottest bodies in the bizna$$.

Model Jaimie Hilfiger was there with her boyfriend, Jeweler Igal Dahan.  I’ll tell ya, these two are some of the best people this world has to offer.

 

And two people who I have great concern for… Tara Reid who really looks like she needs to eat something these days before she straight disappears on us.

And Shanna Moakler. Now Shanna, I know you’re hosting that show “Bridalplasty” and all, you know, that show where women compete for plastic surgery procedures before tying the knot.  The show may be a hit, and you may get some great hookups and employee discounts on plastic surgery procedures, but that doesn’t mean you need to OD on the Botox.

 

You’re starting to follow in the footsteps of Kim Kardashian, who’s following in the footsteps of Jocelyn Wildenstein.
