I Guess taxpayers didn't have to pay $25 Million For this... No, we only paid $800 Billion Since March 20th, 2003

The United States Government has branded Osama Bin Laden with a red “Deceased” sign underneath his picture on the FBI’s Most Wanted List.

This also means that nobody will be claiming the $25 Million Dollar Bounty that was offered up for any information leading to the arrest, capture and/or killing of Osama Bin Laden.  I’m sure of course their claim will be that the U.S. Government ordered the operation, and therefore there is nobody outside of the government that should receive the prize.

Come on now, you didn’t really expect the United States Government to give something back to the people now did you?  And in the end, the War In Iraq has only cost us nearly $1 Trillion Dollars since the war began on March 20th, 2003.

But what I’m surprised about, is that they didn’t hire a Jack Ruby to go ahead and take the title, and run off with the goods.

This House Is Not Having A Party... Between Its Two Parties

Republicans and Democrats are in a deadlocked bullfight over our nations budget… just hours away from the expiration of our current budget spending plan.  Should our Congressional leaders be unable to come to terms over the budget by Friday night midnight, we could see our government actually shut down, an event which last occurred 15 years ago and lasted a total of 21 days.

President Barack Obama held an emergency meeting Wednesday night with House Speaker John Boehner (Republican) and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, in hopes to hash out differences on a budget spending plan that is currently Billions of dollars apart.  President Obama stated that it would take a “great sense of urgency” on both parties in order to get this done by the deadline and avert a government shutdown.

Such a government shutdown could affect approximately 800,000 workers nationwide, including troops overseas fighting in our 3 separate wars… Yeah, we’re still in 3 whole wars ladies and gentlemen.  Many paychecks and organizations will be affected, including national parks, the Federal court system, IRS tax processes, and employees for the White house and the Department of Defense.

The President said on Wednesday night,

“I remain confident that if we’re serious about getting something done, we should be able to complete a deal and get it passed and avert a shutdown. But it’s going to require a sufficient sense of urgency from all parties involved” to prevent a shutdown that “could have real effects on everyday Americans.”

So as it seems, in about 40 hours, we will see how quickly and efficiently the heads of our government are able to agree on a vast array of subjects, in order to avert an executive disaster of our nation that could set our entire economy and order into a tailspin.  Again, these are strange times, let’s see how they decided to play things out for us.

After all, our lives are in THEIR hands.
