From Boyz N The Hood To Pops At The Grove

“Boyz N’ The Hood” Director John Singleton was spotted at The Grove on Thursday having a lovely Father / Daughters day with his two daughters.  I’m sure he spent a pretty penny taking the two shopping, but why not.  Your children are precious, so you might as well spoil them.  It’s also great seeing John, who also directed Janet Jackson and Tupac Shakur in Poetic Justice, doing the full on family thing and enjoying himself while doing it.

John’s most recent work “Abduction” starred Twilight’s Taylor Lautner.  I wonder how his daughters must’ve felt when he brought them on set.  They must’ve been like “Dad, I didn’t know you were this cool“.  And John probably said to them “I Invented Cool”

You look like a Vampire

Rob Pattinson had his own wax sculpture revealed at Madame Tussaud’s Washington D.C. location on Earth Day, April 22nd.  I don’t know about you, but that wax figure’s lookin a little greasy.  Interesting part is, there are always rumors that the “Twilight” star despises showering and washing her hair.

I guess a wax figure is just a little bit ironic… dontchyha think?

Now this is what I call extreme marketing.  Spare no expense and get maximum value.  These fools straight chilled with a live full size elephant at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel in Santa Monica, California.  Can you believe that?

Now, I really would’ve liked it if they actually rode with the elephant on the Ferris Wheel.  Now that would’ve been way more impressive.  I might’ve even guaranteed I would’ve bought a movie ticket just on the strength of that sight alone.  But just an elephant in a hotel parking lot in Santa Monica… Not fully impressed yet.

Anyhow, this film is finally coming out on April 22nd, Earth Day, and it’s about frickin time.  There was much speculation last year about Rob and Reese being an item on set for this film, and Rob forgetting about what’s her name, Kristin Stewart.  Well, those rumors def hold no merit now that Reese got married last week.
