These Ladies Know What’s Up !!
I managed to bump into Katie Cleary at the America’s Next Top Model 20th Season Celebration .. She let me in on all the amazing things she has going on right now, and invited me to check out her new Talk Show “World Animal News” at the TRadioV Studios.
For those who may not know, aside from being one of the Original Cast Members of America’s Next Top Mode’s First Season and her frequent appearances on “Deal Or No Deal “and “Chuck“… Katie is a Passionate Animal Rights Activist whose goal is to bring Awareness to the World of the Inhumane treatment of Animals by us so-called Human Beings, and how it’s overall impact effects our World and Ecosystem.
Katie is so adamant of improving the treatment of animals Globally, that she even teamed up with Joanna Krupa and challenged Reality TV’s Worst Family, The Kardashians, and their sales of Fur at their Dash Stores.
Well now Katie’s got One-Up… cause she now has her own show, bringing “News That Matters” with World Animal News on TRadioV. And we managed to catch her in her Element with other Animal Activists in the Entertainment Biz… Kendra Wilkinson and Kristen Renton from Sons of Anarchy.
And let me tell you, these Ladies know their shizz… and are ready to bring these issues to the attention and forefront of our media which focuses on distraction. And I’m sure nobody can deny the appeal of some super fly ladies who have a few things to say to make our world a better place.

So for the month of July, there was pretty much only one song I listened to, and one music video I watched the whole month.
And that was “Upper Echelon” by Travi$ Scott with T.I. & 2Chainz.
This is your Next Millennium Level of Grimy Street Hip-Hop that we ALL Miss… and the film, which was Directed by Travi$ Scott Himself.. was just as strong a Cinematic Masterpiece Visually as the overall song is Musically.
They brought the Hood Dynamic to the Forest, which may have been inspired by T.I.’s lyric about leavin folk in the Forest.
The Steadicam work on this video was amazing as well.. Especially as T.I. was goin off with his and the Slow-Mo 2Chainz Sequences that continue to perpetuate 2Chainz’ persona that I find reminiscent of the Young Dracula from Bram Stoker’s depiction.
Yo… Sickest Video Ever !! I even played the video for my boy Efren Ramirez, y’all know, Pedro from Napolean Dynamite… and even Efren himself said he wants to be in Travi$ Scott’s new music video.. or anything else for that matter.
So yes.. Props from Proph. This was one of those Videos that Felt like HIp-Hop AGain.. And yes, I do actually think a lot of Hip-Hop Artists are coming kinda correct right now… and this Entire Package is definitely one of those. I’m happy to see it reach 1 Million Views, and I hope it reaches 100 More.

Khujo And #1 Fan Alice Chen... Wet N Wild Moments To Remember !!
So on Wednesday night, I’m chillin with Khujo from Goodie Mob before he had to leave town back to the ATL. Goodie was in LA to perform for AT&T & Blackberry’s “Elevate Young Black Voices” Event at Playhouse the night before, where they performed original favorites, and new tracks from their upcoming album, “Age Against The Machine” which will be released August 27th, 2013.
As I found myself getting lost in the corridors of the London Hotel in West Hollywood, I’m hearing El DeBarge’s “Rhythm Of The Night” bumpin out of one of the Hotel Suites. I take a walk over and see nothing but Women in damn near Pajamas, with champagne glasses and catering by Gordon Ramsay.
I asked what it was for and they told me it was a “Slumber Party” for “Wet N Wild Beauty“… I asked them if they knew that members of Goodie Mob were staying on their floor ? To which they obviously didn’t know. I then told them that I was chillin with Khujo down the hall and if they wanted, I could bring him through.
A young lady by the name of Alice Chen told me “I would DIE If I got to meet Khujo!!!” … So I told her I would be sure to let him know since it means that much to her. Sho’ Nuff… I told Jo, and he was like “Let’s Roll“… dude didn’t even wait 5 minutes for a mofo to gather his thoughts and breath.. sheesh.
So we headed to the party, and Jo and I were the only dudes there. Can’t get no Righter !!
Wet N Wild also happens to have Fergie as their main Spokesmodel… so Musically, we were obviously in Good Company.
And thanks to all the ladies he gave us a warm welcome, and fed us, and gave us free goodies to give back to the women in our lives.

Angelina Jolie With Her Mother Marcheline Bertrand.. The Inspiration Of Her Life... And Her Life Saving Decision
One of the World’s Most Coveted Women.. Angelina Jolie, just went public revealing she had a Preventive Double Mastectomy Procedure performed, with Medical Treatment ending just 2 weeks ago.
Jolie wrote an article for the New York Times Entitled “My Medical Choice“, where she explains her difficult decision to have the procedure performed to prevent her future risk of Breast Cancer. She shares how the devastating loss of her mother, Marcheline Bertrand to Breast Cancer at only 56 years of Age was her motivation of taking the proactive approach. She didn’t want to leave her Children behind just as her Mom was taken from her.
Angelina got deep into her Genetic History, where her risk of Breast Cancer was estimated by Doctors to be at 87% due to the gene BRCA1.. as well as a 50% likelihood of having Ovarian Cancer, and the Double Mastectomy lowered her risk now to less than 5 percent.
Angelina’s vulnerability and strength in revealing the entire procedures she’s had to go through, in order to help save her own life is probably one of the greatest feats she has achieved in her entire career. In a World where everyone is so preoccupied with Self-Image, and cosmetic enhancements to appearance… to have a woman like Angelina Jolie who has been considered the Sexiest Woman Alive year after year from the Entertainment Industry, it is an Honorable Time for her to go against all that people may think, in order to follow the path of a Greater Good… Life.
Most importantly, she shared the importance of family, and how having Brad Pitt by her side through all her procedures was her Strength to make it through, and her desire to be there for her children was the most important thing to her.
