Was honored last night when a private screening was held at IPic Theaters in Pasadena, California for “With Great Power: The Stan Lee Story“, the title of which coming from one of his most famous lines from the life of Spider-Man’s Peter Parker.

Stan Lee captured the minds of generations and generations of children who marveled at the complex stories between good and evil, characters with super powers and hidden weakness.  That which was birthed from his mind became one of the instrumental influences over our modern culture, and created intense competition from rivals such as DC Comics.

All this fuel has created nothing but incredible story telling, fantasy, and even moral teachings that led to a Billion Dollar Empire of literature, television and film the most Successful franchise of which made superstars out of Toby Maguire and James Franco and the most recent of which will be “The Avengers” starring Robert Downey Jr, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson, Jeremy Renner, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth and Gwyneth Paltrow set for release on May 4th.. The Day before Cinco De Mayo and Floyd Mayweather’s fight against Miguel Cotto.

 

But It Is The Story Of Stan Lee’s Life IS A Marvel.

And he brought out some good company as well.  MTV Jersey Shore’s Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino stopped by fresh from Cirque Lodge Rehab and Happy to be Alive. We also so the arrival of another MTV Veteran, Tom Greene and his girlfriend Kimberly Burke.

And Stan Lee’s mastery brought out nothing but the Super Hottest of Hotties as well, like Paula Labaredas, already known to stand out from the crowd let alone when she’s wearing a beauty of an outfit that could definitely be a sight for sore eyes.  And Paula arrived with Mary Carey and her huuuge personality.  And the Fine Female species was capped off by representation from Korrina Rico and German Princess Minzi Von Hohelohn.

 

So if you get a chance, I would highly recommend checking out the Story of Stan Lee’s Life.

Cause when you really think about it… His, is the Story Of YOUR Lives.

The Avengers Premiere saw all the cast members arriving in style, as they shut down all of Hollywood Blvd. for the Star-Studded event at El Capitan Theater.

Not only was Robert Downey Jr., Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Liam Hemsworth and Chris Evans present, but you also saw Karina Smirnoff, Audrina Patridge, Miley Cyrus and even Lindsay Lohan joining in with the films launch.  Even Marvel Master Himself, Stan Lee came along for the show.

Chances are, Avengers will be the biggest film of the weekend.  Now the prediction is whether or not they can break $100 Million in their first weekend to contend with Hunger Games.  As popular as this first Avengers film may become, I doubt they’ll beat the opening weekend for Hunger.

Hotzpotz: Ashley Greene was spotted yesterday seeking solace in some good ole fashioned retail therapy at one of LA’s favorite outdoor malls, The Grove.

Newly single Ashley was spotted out with friends and just enjoying the sunshine and the beauty of the day.  And why wouldn’t she?  She just let go of nearly 150 pounds of dead weight… Joe Jonas

Now I don’t know about you, but many consider Ashley to be one of the most desired women in young Hollywood these days.  But somebody obviously didn’t give Joe Jonas the memo.  Psychologists specializing in Body Language Psychology even noticed that Joe seemed very distant from Ashley, almost as if he was pushing the poor little Twilight star away.  We’re talking she would have her arm around his, while his hands were all in his pockets.

I don’t know, maybe all the screaming prepubescent tweens got him thinking he doesn’t need one woman.  Well, very well then Joe.  There’s about a few million dudes who are waiting in line. And I think Ashley knew that. So she’s already been dating Jared Followill of Kings of Leon and was then tied to Chris Evans just a week or so after.

daamnit if the entire West Coast didn’t come out for Snoop’s party to launch Blast from the makers of Colt 45 and Snoop’s new album “Doggumentary” which was released on MySpace earlier this week…    Kurupt, Warren G, Too Short, DJ Quik and … wait, hold  up !! Paris and Nicky Hilton?

Now if this were to have happened back in the day, Snoop might’ve risked losing some “street cred”… but lucky for him, not only is he a superstar in his own right, but Hip-Hop culture is completely intertwined now with Pop Culture.  As a matter of fact, having Paris and Nicky at your Hip-Hop party probably adds to your street cred, cause it shows just how much your music crosses all boundaries.

And boy, was Colt 45 really trying their hardest to sell that “Blast”… They sure did the damn thang… They even brought out 101 Damenations lookin fine and crowdin up the entire sidewalk across Sunset Blvd. outside of Trousdale, where the event was being held.

Outside of the club, DJ Quik gave love to Nate Dogg’s families to the cameras… and in addition to that, it’s lookin like DJ Quik may just be down to work with the kid.  Stay tuned and I’ll keep you posted on that shizz.

Other celebrity guests included Ryan Cabrera, Megan Goode, Chris Evans, and Natasha Henstridge, as well as the always beautiful Ashlan Gorse from E!. You know that chick is tall as fu*k!!

And you know what, it def felt like an old school West Coast Gangsta Rap party since there was like 6 squad cars of sheriffs outside, just itchin and waitin for some whoridaz.

Luckily, there wasn’t one.  Keep the peace ladies and gentlemen

btw, u know people have been wondering why Snoop would release his new album on MySpace.  Execs were telling the company they need to turn it around or else… I guess this is their first step in heading back into our culture… and they must’ve paid Snoop some major loot $$$
