SunOfLasVegas.com : For those of you who are avid DWTS Fans… You may have remembered their announcement of their new Dancing With The Stars Live In Las Vegas Show that was scheduled to open this weekend.

Well Open It Did.  And we think this is an excellent way to expand the brand of Dancing With The Stars.

The show itself was nothing short of Amazing and Beautifully Done.  For those who are eager to check it out while in Las Vegas, it will be every Monday night, just as the DWTS airs on ABC.

The show will star some of your favorites like The Party Time, Excellent Wayne’s World Girl Tia Carrere, Lacey Schwimmer, Dmitry Chaplin, and Kyle Massey, who performed on stage.  Also last night Kym Johnson and Cheryl Burke attended to show support for the expansion of their crew that caters to 20 Million People in America.

Joey Fatone and Carson Kressley shared Hosting Duties, but be sure these dudes will keep it mad entertaining.  And don’t discount the possibility that a show with some ABC / DWTS Pull won’t come thru with some special guests, especially Musical Guests.  You all are in for supposed surprise treats.

And smart move from Tropicana… One of the few standing Hotel Brands in Las Vegas that is still trying to hit that jugular to the bigger badder younger brothers on the Strip.  While they may have struggled with Nikki Beach and RPM, both Clubs that have opened and closed in the last year… They found it difficult to find their niche in the world of Entertainment In Vegas.

I can guarantee DWTS is going to bring awhole new element to Vegas.

And it will be a good one.

Yes, Carrot Top was up to his usual antics on the Red Carpet.  But don’t worry, cause this gesture was later paid forward by a certain Joey Fatone.

Also present at Last Night’s Grand Kickoff for Dancing With The Stars Live in Las Vegas included Kym Johnson, and Cheryl Burke who watched in support along with Tom Bergeron, while Joey Fatone and Carson Kressley Hosted.

Also there was Lacey Schwimmer, Kyle Massey and Dmitry Chaplin, who will be starring in the show which will perform every Monday night, just around the same time you can catch DWTS on ABC.

The Buzz over Dancing With The Stars Season 13 is that it will probably be the best DWTS ever.  And judging by the first kick-off Afterparty… They’re definitely right.

The party was on and crackin at SBE’s Newly Remodeled Hyde Lounge on Sunset, hosted by Karina Smirnoff and American Inspiration J.R. Martinez, and pretty much everybody came to shake their groove thing after the first school session in front of 20 Million people.

We’re talkin everybody came through !!  Let’s name em off shall we?  Of course, there was DWTS sweetheart Karina Smirnoff, along with her partner, Iraqi War Hero turned Dancing Celebrity, J.R. Martinez.  We also got to see Kristin Cavallari make her DWTS Party Debut, along with sole Kardashian son Rob Kardashian, and recently recruited dancing beauty, Peta Murgatroyd.

Let’s also include Kym Johnson, David Arquette, Cheryl Burke, Ricki Lake, Chris Jericho, Ralph Macchio, George Clooney’s most recent Flavor of the Month before dating the tallest “Kiebler Elf“, and former DWTS cast member, Stacy Kiebler… Ms. Elisabetta Canalis, straight outta Italy son !!  Anna Trebunskaya was there as well, and let’s not forget singer / dancing stud, Mark Ballas.  Soccer sweetheart Hope Solo also came… Solo… cause Maksim was nowhere to be found.

In addition to Dancing With The Stars, there were two other shows that represented their stripes… Dana Wilkey from the 2nd Season of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills“, and Leilani Dowding from VH1′s “Tough Love Miami”.  Holy Crap that’s a lot of people and a whole heckuva lot of TV Airtime.  And for those who weren’t television related, Ricki Lake brought her recently inducted Fiance, Christian Evans, and Hyde also saw Fashion Designer Donna Mizani.

The only people who didn’t seem to make it to the party was Entertainment Royal Spawn, Chaz Bono and partner Lacey Schwimmer, who we heard dined at Christina Aguilera’s favorite Pre-DUI Pizza Pit Stop, Osteria Mozza on Melrose.  Carson Kressley, Chyna Phillips and partner Tony Dovolani, the Chmerkovskiy brothers Valentin and Maksim… Nancy Grace and partner Tristan Macmanus, Ricki Lake’s partner Derek Hough, and Peta Mergatroyd’s partner Ron Artest turned Metta World Peace.

And while that may sound like quite a bit of people missing, what definitely wasn’t missing was the party atmosphere, as everybody was gettin their groove on as the DJ was spinnin mad old school tunes and Hip-Hop favorites that kept the party going till the Venue shut down.

And again, if this party was any indication of the Season to come, we definitely are in store for the best season of Dancing With The Stars yet.

So Star Magazine tried to have an “All Hollywood” party this Sunday night at Trousdale, and it seems like All Hollywood decided to go elsewhere.  Not forrealz, it wasn’t that bad, but it did seem a little lackluster.  There was very little A-list power to support this party, but it definitely had some up and coming movers and shakers on the scene, as well as some old favorites that have stayed pretty steady in our focus.

 

Now the thing is, Star Magazine, as a publication, has created quite a few enemies over the decades.  They’re notorious for making up stories and causing loads of problems, not to mention the fact that they’re a subsidiary of National Enquirer.

I was told that celebrities in attendance would be receiving a free Ipad 2, and if that’s the case… EVEN A FREE IPAD 2 COULDN’T PICK UP THE DRAW !!!  Now that’s saying a lot.

 

But hey, it was a nice attempt Star.  I did see some folks that were cool, such as 2/3 of one of the OG boy groups, “Hanson“.  We also got a look at the ever so fine Krupa sisters, Joanna and Marta.  “The Hills” repped hard, with Stephanie Pratt, Jayde Nicole and Jason Wahler in attendance.  And let’s not forget to mention how much Stephanie Pratt wanted to be the life of the party, even tweeting a pic of herself from the inside on a skateboard in her heels.  If she fell flat on her ass, now that would’ve been a shot!!!

 

We got to see Dane Cook and his non-Jessica Simpson looking date.  Tatiana Ali showed up still the princess of Bel-Air.

 

Taryn Manning was DJ for the event, and has been spinning on the 1′s and 2′s a lot around Hollywood lately, so if you’re ever out, keep a look out for her.  That should always make for a great time.

 

The Gastineau Girls were out, and Lisa was trying to hook her daughter Brittny up with Gavin DeGraw. She needs to find a steady man soon, and let’s hope she does.

Bai-Ling showed up for all our international audiences.

Two hotties forrealz were Lacey Schwimmer and Hope Dworaczyk whose looks are directly correlated with how little clothing they have on, since they both have some of the hottest bodies in the bizna$$.

Model Jaimie Hilfiger was there with her boyfriend, Jeweler Igal Dahan.  I’ll tell ya, these two are some of the best people this world has to offer.

 

And two people who I have great concern for… Tara Reid who really looks like she needs to eat something these days before she straight disappears on us.

And Shanna Moakler. Now Shanna, I know you’re hosting that show “Bridalplasty” and all, you know, that show where women compete for plastic surgery procedures before tying the knot.  The show may be a hit, and you may get some great hookups and employee discounts on plastic surgery procedures, but that doesn’t mean you need to OD on the Botox.

 

You’re starting to follow in the footsteps of Kim Kardashian, who’s following in the footsteps of Jocelyn Wildenstein.

Now hey, I’m not trying to be mean… I’m just giving you fair warning… before it’s too late
