My Mans Sam Sarpong Doesn’t Just Kick It In High Gear… He Kicks It In Muaphukkin High Gear.
Sam has just joined an All-Star Cast in the new Fox Pilot “Studio City“. Studio City Stars Erick McCormick which most might remember from “Will & Grace“, and Heather Graham most remembered for her roles in “Austin Powers” & “Boogie Nights“.
The Series will focus on UK Newcomer Florence Pugh as a young girl growing up in Studio city pursuing a singing career.
The Pilot is being Produced by Warner Brothers Television with “Grey’s Anatomy” Producer Sanaar Hemri, and Creator of “ER” John Wells.
Sam, who was recently named by Rolling Stone Magazine as one of its “Hot 100” last year will be playing “Pinky”, a famous Rapper/Producer who McCormick is trying to get to produce his daughter.
Sam recently won “Best Actor” at the 2015 Nike / Procter & Gamble Film Festival in San Diego for his film “No Weapons Formed Against Us” and will be seen in the upcoming “Crossed The Line”
And if you remember, Sam’s “Mr Fashion World Tour” recently just closed 2015 Style Fashion Week and soon he’ll be dropping his new single “Lovin” due later this month with his Mr Fashion Tour June 26th-28th at The BET Experience.
And If you missed “Bones” last week, Sam was introduced as Thomas Saltz, an ex-convict who was accused of murder, but is now with a wife and a child while managing a Bakery and trying to live a clean life.

Wanna get away? I think Southwest is ready to book a flight outta here
See… This is why I don’t like to fly
Southwest Airlines cancelled over 300 flights for a 2nd day in a row as it continued to inspect almost 80 planes they’ve grounded for damage similar to that of the 737 that had to make an emergency landing in Yuma, Arizona yesterday. Mechanics discovered a tear along the “lap joint” which showed extensive cracking that was undiscovered in previous maintenance checks. This definitely doesn’t sound good for Southwest’s future business. In fact, I bet a lot of people are going to sell short their stock or throw money into some put options.
The plane in yesterday’s emergency landing had 118 passengers, many of whom felt the end was near for them, prompting them to send text messages to loved ones like “Our plane is going down! I love you”. I would hate to be on a plane in a situation like that.
