Damion “Damizza” Young is a producer and has been involved in various aspects of the Hip-Hop world, as well as the Careers of some of our greatest and most memorable artists of all-time, such as Eminem, Snoop Dogg, P. Diddy, Jay-Z, Mariah Carey and even the Late, Great Michael Jackson Himself.
Damion’s deep involvements with such monumental artists has taken his life on a crash course of the Entertainment World, garnering himself memories that most people couldn’t even dream of, like the time he spent with Mariah Carey, Michael Jackson and Luis Miguel… Three of the world’s most beloved musical artists of all time.
In his new book, “Guilty By Association” which you can order FOR FREE from his website, www.DamizzaBook.com, he illustrates how a small town kid rose up amongst some of Music’s most influential, to even becoming a romantic involvement of Mariah Carey’s. One expected celeb that everyone was hoping for, but never showed, was Jennifer Love Hewitt.
And while all came out to support such a great cause as the fight against Lupus, I couldn’t help but have a moment of remembrance for Christopher Wallace, more greatly known as the Notorious B.I.G., whose life came to a close in front of the Petersen Automotive Museum on March 9th, 1997, and putting a close to the East Coast / West Coast War which also caused the loss of Tupac Shakur.
Yet another night to remember.

Pac Is Lookin Down On Us Smilin'... Just As He Has Always Been
Convicted Felon Dexter Isaacs has released a statement from prison, confessing to be the shooter of Tupac’s Infamous 1994 shooting at Quad Studios in Times Square, New York City.
This was the infamous robbery/shooting which left Tupac with 5 bullet holes, and one grazing his head and testicle. This shooting is what later sparked the historic East Coast / West Coast Beef which led to the slaying of both Tupac Shakur, who was shot in Las Vegas on September 7th, 1996 and later dying on September 13th, and the death of Christopher Wallace in Los Angeles on March 9th, 1997 in front of the Petersen Automotive Museum. Tupac consistently referred to the shooting incident as being an orchestrated hit, involving Biggie, Puffy, Bad Boy Entertainment, Andre Harrell, Little Shawn of Junior Mafia and “Stretch” a man later found to be an FBI Informant.
Tupac’s murder, who would have been 40 years old tomorrow, June 16th, and Biggie’s remain a mystery. But according to Dexter Isaacs, he was paid a measly $2,500 for the hit on Tupac in 1994 by Jimmy “Henchman” Rosemond, President of Henchmen Entertainment.
Rosemond’s legal team has denied the allegations, but Isaac’s statement reads:
“I want to apologize to his family [Tupac Shakur] and for the mistake I did for that sucker [Jimmy Henchman], I am trying to clean it up to give [Tupac and Biggie's] mothers some closure.”
I guess he finally realized he was part of what led to the demise of quite possibly the greatest Hip-Hop Artist and one of the most powerful minds and souls of all time.
Let’s hope these events lead to more discovery of what really happened nearly 15 years ago, taking away the lives of the greatest we will ever know in Hip-Hop.

So this is a special post I’ve been meaning to write about for quite some time now, and that’s about Aubrey O’Day suckin up all the Oxygen… You hear that? That’s the sound of you not breathing !!

Not forrealz. But let’s just start this off by saying that the year 2011 has definitely been kicked off to a great start… if your name is Aubrey O’Day. Aubrey saw the start of her own reality show on Oprah Winfrey’s Oxygen network, and her premiere was the highest rated in the network’s history. This is no small feat, as this is the first reality show from Oxygen to real make its mark into the mainstream before introducing all of its future up and coming projects. The Oxygen will soon include shows with Paris Hilton, Brooke Mueller, Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott, and not to mention, another one of my good friends, Jaimie Hilfiger.
Aubrey is an expert in giving and receiving pleasure 
I’ve known Aubrey for a couple years now through mutual friends and industry events, and I have the pleasure in saying I’ve partied with the girl, hung with the girl and gotten to know that she is nothing but an absolute sweetheart. In this biz, that is incredibly difficult to find. Not only do the circumstances of success tend to get to the head of those in the limelight, but the difficulties and stresses from this world can also change people for the worse. It is clear to me that Aubrey was raised right, and she intends to stay that way.

But don’t let the sweet and sexy fool you. Aubrey is ready to take charge in this man’s world, and she isn’t taking “Man” for an answer. If I were you, I wouldn’t just think twice of doing Aubrey dirty, but as we now know, you should definitely not even consider crossing one of her good friends… Or you will get it !

And just recently, Aubrey was seen outside of Mr. Chows in Beverly Hills, just one day after the hugely successful debut of Automatic on iTunes. She was seen telling the media to reach out to those in support of her to convince her record company to shoot a video for her debut single. Aubrey of course has had her fill of difficult Executives in the past of her music career *cough* PUFFY *cough* . But at this point in her life, it is obvious that Aubrey is ready to take charge and ready to press forward, even if that means calling out those that pay you when she knows they’re not giving her the focus she needs.

And if friendships and loyalty mean anything to you, than her friendship with Jenna Jameson should speak volumes. A woman like Jenna, who is at the top of her industry, is not one who can just trust anybody. So for her to have a friend who has stood by her for years, in Aubrey, shows that Aubrey is definitely somebody that you would wish was in your circle, and never left.

This week we saw two major events amongst celebrity couples. 1) Eddie Cibrian and LeAnn Rimes got married in Malibu, California. 2) Amy Smart announced her engagement to Carter Oosterhouse from HGTV’s “Carter Can”
What makes these two couples worth talking about in this post? Eddie, LeAnn and Amy all dumped their longtime former companions for someone more prominent in the industry.
Eddie was married to Brandi Glanville, a make-up artist who is also the mother of his two children. The two were married for 8 years before Eddie began his alleged affair with LeAnn, also married at the time to Dean Sheremet, also for 8 years !!
So they both dumped their spouses of 8 years, to get with the more prominent, more famous and wealthier person.

Now, on to Amy Smart. Amy was dating actor Brandon Williams, and the two had been together more than half their lives, since they were teenagers in junior high. They were at once engaged, but ended their relationship. Then Amy meets Carter in November, and the two are already on the path to tying the knot. Sucks for Brandon who’s been puttin in work over half his life.
All that’s to say is, most celebrities in the industry will do you like Jennifer Lopez. They’ll ditch out on the Ojani Noas and Chris Judds of their lives, to get with the Puffys, Diddys and Marc Anthonys.

Let me introduce y’all to my boy Josh Harraway. In case you didn’t catch him last night on TMZ TV, he’s the world’s first Tupac Impersonator, and he’s definitely got the genetic makeup to challenge any mothaphu**a on the streets (sorry, that was the Pac in me).
Josh is up for the role to portray Tupac Shakur in the upcoming Biopic on his life, directed by Antoine Fuqua and produced by Morgan Creek Productions. They’ve been basically searching all corners of the globe to find a guy to play the Legend that defied the laws of life and death. And while no man or lyricist could ever accurately duplicate Pac’s lyrical prowess… There’s no doubt that my boy Josh should be Top Contender Numero Uno when it comes to 2Pac.
And if the ever looming presence of Joslyn James is any indicator (I like to call the two “Joshlyn“), Josh is a shoe in for the role… Cause if chicks are diggin Josh like they used to dig Pac, then he’s def got the persona down packed. It’s no wonder she dropped that Tiger foo to be with 2Pac2!

What's a Dogg Without His Treats? Snoop And A Nice Bleez
daamnit if the entire West Coast didn’t come out for Snoop’s party to launch Blast from the makers of Colt 45 and Snoop’s new album “Doggumentary” which was released on MySpace earlier this week… Kurupt, Warren G, Too Short, DJ Quik and … wait, hold up !! Paris and Nicky Hilton?

Now if this were to have happened back in the day, Snoop might’ve risked losing some “street cred”… but lucky for him, not only is he a superstar in his own right, but Hip-Hop culture is completely intertwined now with Pop Culture. As a matter of fact, having Paris and Nicky at your Hip-Hop party probably adds to your street cred, cause it shows just how much your music crosses all boundaries.
And boy, was Colt 45 really trying their hardest to sell that “Blast”… They sure did the damn thang… They even brought out 101 Damenations lookin fine and crowdin up the entire sidewalk across Sunset Blvd. outside of Trousdale, where the event was being held.

Outside of the club, DJ Quik gave love to Nate Dogg’s families to the cameras… and in addition to that, it’s lookin like DJ Quik may just be down to work with the kid. Stay tuned and I’ll keep you posted on that shizz.
Other celebrity guests included Ryan Cabrera, Megan Goode, Chris Evans, and Natasha Henstridge, as well as the always beautiful Ashlan Gorse from E!. You know that chick is tall as fu*k!!
And you know what, it def felt like an old school West Coast Gangsta Rap party since there was like 6 squad cars of sheriffs outside, just itchin and waitin for some whoridaz.
Luckily, there wasn’t one. Keep the peace ladies and gentlemen
btw, u know people have been wondering why Snoop would release his new album on MySpace. Execs were telling the company they need to turn it around or else… I guess this is their first step in heading back into our culture… and they must’ve paid Snoop some major loot $$$
