Elvis Presley And His Moment With God Before Leaving This World
Being that today is the anniversary of when this world lost its “King“, I decided to share about something regarding Elvis Presley on the day that he died, August 16th, 1977, exactly 34 years ago today.
There have been some Urban Legends about this, and people always speculated as to whether or not this was true. But as it turns out, Elvis Presley was in fact reading about Jesus Christ and The Holy Shroud of Turin just moments before he passed.

As the legend has it, Elvis said he was going to the restroom, and grabbed the book “A Scientific Search For The Face Of Jesus” by Edward Cayce. Elvis never emerged from there, and it was said that when his body was found, he was clutching the book to his chest.
SunOfHollywood.com and WorldMonitorTV recently caught up with Larry Geller, Elvis Presley’s Stylist, at the Cuts 4 Critters Charity Event.
Larry told us that he was in fact the person who gave the book to Elvis to read, the very same day he passed, August 16th 1977. It was just a few hours later that he would enter the restroom with the book about the Christian Savior.

So while thousands are gathered at Graceland, it is an interesting way to remember the last moments of Elvis Presley’s life.
Perhaps one can say he made his peace with the Lord.
