Cause he was Lil Wayne dammnit !! Of course this dude had to leave school. Some people are just destined for greater things than what the system tries to keep people locked into. And Dwayne “Lil Wayne” Carter is just one of those folks.
So Katie got Wayne to sit down for the premiere of her Show’s 2nd Season which will air on Monday September 9th on ABC.
And when she asked him if he regretted dropping out of high school. Damn Katie, that’s the DUMBEST fu@king question you ever could have asked. He could practically purchase the Network that Owns your Show. Of course he doesn’t regret getting a diploma for a barely minimum wage job in the rat race economy where nobody has jobs today. Katie, you lose serious Journalism points lady.
Anywhew… He blamed his Mama. She saw him having to go to school with the gun she purchased for his protection since he was already a Platinum Artist with the burgeoning Cash Money Records. After she initially saw him putting the gun in his bag and asked him what it was for, a few minutes passed and she realized if her son needs to go to school like this, then he’s done. And she gave the Greenlight for Baby and Slim to help Wayne get his GED.
And he’s been Lil Wayne ever since.

Sushi is still Risky Business, But Heidi Klum And Seal Are Down for the Challenge
Hotzpotz: Heidi Klum and Seal were spotted at Matsuhisa, a Sushi restaurant in Beverly Hills that is quite often frequented by Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson, since they are both connoisseurs of “fish“.
Heidi and Seal had dinner tonight with the kids. Now we all know Seal does not take kindly at all to photogs… Probably because he knows tabloid media didn’t care much for him since he married Heidi. Which is understandable, he hasn’t had a hit in a decade, and he probably hates the fact that photogs follow his fine a$$ wife everywhere she goes.
But the dynamic duo and their kin had to call the police, because way too many shutterbugs showed up, causing them to feel a sense of danger about their exit. The police were later called which scared away more than half of them.

Don't You Know That's The Sound Of The Blame... Bouncing From The Planes
After careful inspections of 737 Boeing aircraft, prompted by the emergency landing of a Southwest Airliner that left a 5-foot hole in its fuselage, Boeing said that its engineering and safety experts were caught off guard by the incident. Boeing admitted to grossly miscalculating the safety of certain older versions of their 737’s, stating they knew such risks of cracking problems did exist, but didn’t anticipate these possibilities to occur until much later in their lifespan.
Now Boeing had advised airlines that the planes could make 60,000 flights before they needed to undergo detailed inspections of the relevant sections. On Tuesday, Boeing said that it miscalculated: it now recommends inspections after 30,000 flights, half the previous threshold. See… This is why I don’t like to fly
Southwest Airlines cancelled over 300 flights for a 2nd day in a row as it continued to inspect almost 80 planes they’ve grounded for damage similar to that of the 737 that had to make an emergency landing in Yuma, Arizona yesterday. Mechanics discovered a tear along the “lap joint” which showed extensive cracking that was undiscovered in previous maintenance checks. This definitely doesn’t sound good for Southwest’s future business. In fact, I bet a lot of people are going to sell short their stock or throw money into some put options.
The plane in yesterday’s emergency landing had 118 passengers, many of whom felt the end was near for them, prompting them to send text messages to loved ones like “Our plane is going down! I love you”. I would hate to be on a plane in a situation like that.
